well, i have been a member here for some time, but never properly introduced myself.
I do believe in the unexplained, ghosts things of that nature. yes ufo,s as well though those are to me far scarier than spirits
I live near an area supposedly known for UFOs, and have seen some really strange things/ we live near Giant Rock and the Integritron.
paranormal stuff has always been a part of my life. yes I have seen and felt and heard things. i dont share much as i have found it makes many uncomfortable. so here I am, nice to meet y'all. mianly my profile is under vampire passions but i wuld like to chat with others hwo also BELIEVE.

Hi Everyone,

I'm so fascinated by the paranormal and have had a few experiences myself. These experiences were wonderful but I've not been able to find anyone else who has had the same experience.

I received a call from my dad telling me my mom was in the hospital in the ICU unit. Unfortunately, the person who took the call failed to tell me he called. I felt a need to call my dad at home, 3 hours away, and no answer. Then a co-worker asked if I had gotten my call and i said no. I immediately called the number that was left for me, found out it was the hospital and returned the call. The nurse would not give me any information over the phone even when I could prove that I was the daughter. The nurse informed me that my dad, her son and daughter were there. I kept telling her I was the only daughter and I'm 3 hours away. She kept arguing so I ---- up and left my job, not telling anyone. I arrived at the hospital and was told my dad,her son and daughter were down in the cafeteria. I said well I'm her daughter and I want to see my mom. I found the room she was in but the nurse inside said I was too late my mom had passed. I asked if I could be alone and she left the room. I sat on the bed, held my mom's hand and talked to her. I then said I love you, she took her last breath and sighed. I knew she had waited for me to get there and saw her smiling spirit actually leave her body up against the wall behind her bed.

When my dad passed, his spirit had already left and his body looked like a carcus.

I've seen a ghost of a person who had not yet passed.

I have been physically grabbed by the shoulder as I was trying to sit down on a chair.

When visiting the Winchester House, I felt and heard voices, noises as I was on a tour. When a voice told me to look behind me I saw a group of ghost workers who are the ones that actually worked on the house.

When I meet new people, I sense future events that the person will experience.

Has anyone else had similar experiences?

yeh ive just joined and i experienced something very odd which i guess you could call reincarnation unelss there are alternative explanations (such as precogniton/psi?). Basically to cut a very long story short this girl i knew kept saying to me when i was little that she had a feeling shed die and come back to life. She told me the name, location (including that shed be my neighbour) and even details about her future. I didnt beleive it but she wanted me to go round her house to "save her life" so i did but she was alive. So i thought little of it and left...she died a few hours later! Then, many years later, in fact in 2004 we moved to Nottingham and there the girl was, just as shed described!!!!!! Its ever weireder since this girl originally (in her previous life if you want to call it that) lived in a house that we moved to and i saw her ghost haunting my bedroom. I tried to tell people at school but no one beleived me...yet the face and voice was identical to the girl as i saw her many years later!!!!!

`Its the paranormal until its proven, then it becomes part of science. The black-plague was considered evil spirits, now we know its bacteria & virus that make us sick or keep up healthy. Lightening was mystical, now we call it electricity and harnessing it for use every day. Science can now measure and capture thoughts on machines, now science has been studying & measuring the eastern Qi (life energy) and have proof of healers, people who move some Qi out of their body into another persons body making them stronger. Yup its documented. We have a long way to go....

I've always been fascinated by the paranormal for as long as I can remember. I have a special spot in my heart for Mothman and Will o' the wisps. Unfortunately I haven't had any real encounters of my own, and I live in freakin Ohio I mean that's supposed to be one of the most haunted locations in the US.
Anywhooooo~ I love watching paranormal state especially. What little ghost hunters Ive seen seems pretty meh.
Anyway, you ever see a corpse candle or the Mothman buzzing around, be sure to tell me!

I have always believed in ghost/demons and all that it consumes mainly because I have been able to see them (much to my dismay) as long as I can remember. I have been able to comfortably advoid them until the past few years when I met my best friend who is rather obsessed with them and together we have more encounters than I am comfortable with. =/

I am slowly getting a little better with dealing with everything so I figured i'd slip on here and discuss with various people about their experances both good and bad. Swap techniques on how to deal with agressive ones (we had to call in a priest once :c ). Our little 'Ghost Poking' group inculdes just a scant three. My best friend: the leader and Obsessed The Empath and me the Psychic. Occasionally we even bring in a mutal friend because he is rather open and by that I mean easily taken down by stronger spirits.

I feel like i am rambleing. Sorry! Any questions or comments you just gotta poke at me. I am pretty open to all discussion.

`What I like best about "Paranormal State" is that John invites other religious beliefs to help people. American Indians, Pastors, Priests, Pscyhics, Empaths, Wicca's. What I find fascinating, is that when a "victem" is encouraged to stand up for themselves and tell off the unwanted entity (being ghost, spirit or whatever) it works. Claiming their living space and throwing out or uninviting the entitites to leave. That living in fear just makes it worse and strengthens some entities they don't want. Just my observation...

I'm a new member. I've experienced spirit encounters all my life since a small child. The first spirit I can remember was an old skinny man who would come into my room in the middle of the night, look at me and get in the other twin bed... laying down to sleep. He didn't talk to me or snore. Just frightened me enough to pull the covers over my head or run.... I've had many experiences with spirit and have done formal readings. Right now I'm taking a break and want to get to know what you're about here!

Hi! I had an encounter with a ghost when I was a kid. This was real- not scary at all- and nothing at all like a 7year old would make up. I've had paranormal experiences throughout my life.

I'd really like to h--k up with some parapsychologists in Massachusetts sometime for a field trip.
