hmm, was that thunder... Yep I am a bona fide Mother Nature junkie. Each time I can hear a distant rumble, I almost scurry to a window waiting for a flash. When the winter sky turns a leaden gray, you can see me anticipating the first flake. I am definitely an avid Weather Channel viewer too. Especially at times of severe conditions..whether a tornado outbreak is imminent, major flooding is occuring or a hurricane is about to make a US landfall. Their meteorology staff is top-notch, and I enjoy some of their special programming too (i.e. the weather history shows). Also...here's an intruiging side note, where another of my interests merges with this one--I like some of the music they play during the local forecast breaks! It can be very soothing.

Of course all this is more special with that someone by your side. Let's see if not only we catch some sparks in the sky, but ones with each other. I'd love to trace the faces in the clouds with a person next to me
