It won't matter to me if the person is hearing or non-hearing, as long as the person knows sign language or would love to learn from me. Myself, I'm hard of hearing with hearing aids. I can talk (took seven years of speech therapy), but I can't pronounce some letters and while I can hear sounds fine, words comes in my ears in pieces and I'd either have to fill in the blanks or ask for clarification.
One of the phenomena I've encountered is a soul coming down from heaven to tell me to get off my butt and get the **** to work out on my birthday through signs. It was very, very, very wordy. She would tease me, too. It was funny but also serious.
