I think my imagination meets whatevers there about halfway, the same way a radio actually transmits a weak signal on the frequency its set to receive to set up the resonance of receiving.
It makes no sense to me to assume the normative view of _anything_ is ever true. Especially about anything important. Other hand, get too far out of the box, and they send someone to drag you back in.
